Just how cold is it in my neck of the woods? The temperature was -43 with the windchill yesterday. Yes, you read that right. Minus FORTY THREE! It's so cold that if I went outside with wet hair it would freeze in minutes and break off if I tried to bend it. It's so cold that I have to warm up my car and start it 15-20 minutes before I actually want to drive it. It's so cold that I don't want to drive. Period. All I want to do is stay inside, curl up on my couch with hot chocolate, with my fire place roaring, the heat turned up to 22 (I like it hot!) and watch movies until this cold spell passes. It's sooooooo cold that even though I've lived in this climate my whole life (minus the two years I lived in Vancouver which was tropical compared to here) I still complain and whine about it every year as if it's shocking! But really, it's expected. But I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
Are you experiencing ridiculously chilly temps right now? Or do you live somewhere where it's 20 above? You 'twenty-aboves' make me so jealous.
Okay, enough about the weather. My rant is over.
