Makeup Haul

These are the makeup products I purchased over the past two weeks, well most of it was bought last night during a trip after work to the mall which is dangerously close to my house I might add. I would never buy this much makeup normally but I only paid about $23.00 for all of this because I used my Sephora gift cards that I got for my birthday last month (who loves gift cards? I do!) and the cosmetics I didn't get from Sephora were drugstore brands and weren't expensive. I haven't tried any of these yet (except the Revlon palette) but I hope to do some reviews for you all in the near future. Here's what I picked up:

Nars Blush in 'Orgasm'
I've heard so many great things about this blush but I've never tried it before.
Actually I'm a Nars Virgin! Not for long though ; ) Dont' worry, I'll use protection:

L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base
It's basically a primer that's supposed to smooth lines, hide pores and banish imperfections. I got it for $15.00 at the drugstore which isn't too bad. I usually use MAC primer but I wanted to try something a bit less expensive. Plus the glamorous L'Oreal commercial with Linda Evangelista suckered me into buying it!

Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow in #730 Skinlights
I'm not impressed so far. First, because every time I've tried to open the palette I chip a nail, it's so hard to get into! And then I swear. More than once. Secondly, the colors are beautiful but the shadows tend to cake on the lid and the colors don't blend into one another very easily. I'm going to try it with Urban Decay's primer (below) to see if that makes a difference...

Benefit Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer in 01, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Givenchy PLAY for her
I usually use Benefit's Erase Paste for concealer -which I LOVE- but I decided to try Boi-ing, also by Benefit, just to see which one is better suited for my skin and my dark under-eye cirlces I've been cursed with. I also wanted to try UD's Primer Potion because I've heard umpteen times how amazing it is from other beauty bloggers. Oh, and I was given a sample of Givenchy PLAY For Her while I was at Sephora and it's a lovely perfume. Sorry, that's the only word I can use to describe it: Lovely. It's a bit too floral and in-your-face for me though. Still, I'll use it up. (Hey, it was free!)

Have any of you tried any of these products? What should I expect?

I hope you all have a great weekend! Tonight I'm going to see:

I haven't been this excited to see a movie since Sex and the City 2! Here's hoping Burlesque doesn't disappoint like SATC did.
