Hmmm!!! THE NEWLY MARRIED COUPLE SAVOURING LOVE

We are too sure you all already know that the overall boss of the Nigerian Police, in the person of the Inspector General of Police, M. D. Abubakar got wedded at the weekend to his beloved 2nd wife, the gorgeous Zarah Mohammed Abubakar, 35. 

The venue of the Nikah ceremony was the National Mosque, in Abuja, the FCT. The solemnization was ably conducted by the Chief Iman of the Mosque himself, Alhaji Ustaz Mohammed. Some of the guests in attendance were the likes of the former Military Head of State, General Abdulsalam Abubakar (retired), VP Namadi Sambo, Mohammed Adoke (Minister for Justice & Attorney General of the Federation), Senator Bala Mohammed, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, richest black man on Earth, Alhaji Aliko Dangote & many National Assembly members.

After the mosque, the reception that followed was at the ThisDay Dome, also in Abuja. Some of the prominent guests that were seen mingling and having a great time back slapping and generally having a good time were the likes of Governors Ibrahim Dankwambo, Idris Wada, Garba Umar of Gombe, Kogi & Taraba. Also in attendance were Senators Andy Uba & Paulinus Igwe, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, billionaire Femi Otedola, Akin Osuntokun amongst several other guests in attendance.

According to our findings, very many gorgeous and stunning friends of the new wife graced the occasion which was a several days ceremony. It was like angels literally in the female form were everywhere. Intermingling with other guests. Chief photographer at the very colourful occasion was none other than ace-photo genius Kelechi Amadi-Obi.

THE GORGEOUS COUPLE

BRIDE-ZARAH & FRIEND- NANA ASMAU KUSHERKI

Apparently the wedding Fatiha train began yesterday, Friday, September 13, 2013. While most people were thinking the event was all of today, Saturday, September, 2013 some major part of the 2 days event took place yesterday. Prior to this week there had been the bridal party though.

Check out below the programme of event of the Nikah ceremony between the Inspector General of Police and his beloved Zarah as it happened yesterday Friday, September 13, 2013. 

Dila & Nalla (Bride had her henna done, which is the body decoration common amongst the Northerners & some other tribes round the world, amidst drumming etc)- 11:00 am - 12 noon.

Walima (a wedding reception after the Nikah, where Islamic preaching about women's role in Islam is mostly done) -  2:00pm  - 5pm (venue-ThisDay Dome)

Wushe Wushe -(the Cultural night, here the dress code for the bridesmaids was blue & black Wagambari)-8:30 pm (venue-ThisDay Dome)

Dress Code was- White Laffaya/veil, which was for the mothers & sisters and most guests.

Then the Programme of event for today, Saturday, September 14, 2013 goes as follows:

Kalatul (Bridal Hair Wash)- 11 am.

Kususuram(Exchange of Gift/Lete-this is the suitcases of clothes, shoes etc presented to the wife (the friends & some family members would collect and check out the gifts)- 2:00 pm.

Fero Zayeta/ Kalawa/ Presentation of bride in Cultural Attire. Here she would wear gorgeous Kanuri attire and with plenty of Gold as a show-off - 5:00pm.

Fero Gota (Conveyance of bride to her new home)- 6:00pm.

So as we speak now. The Bridal Hair Washing is on going. 

There would be an exclusive Dinner later on tonight at the International Conference Center, Abuja after all the traditional wedding rite must have ended. The wedding photographer we hear is the one & only Kelechi Amadi-Obi, while the day's MC is the Julius 'the Genius' Agwu.

IG OF POLICE MOHAMMED DAHIRU ABUBAKAR WEDS ZAHRA BUNU-SHERIFF MUSA TOMORROW

Come tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, the city would be agog, as all roads would be leading to the venue of choice to be at, which is. The This Day Dome, Abuja for the wedding between the handsome Inspector General of the Nigerian Police, IG Mohammed Abubakar, 53 and his jewel of inestimable value, the very gorgeous Zahra Bunu-Sheriff Musa, who is the 35 year old daughter of the former Nigerian Ambassador to France and a former Minister holding different portfolios at different times in the Federal Executive Council in Nigeria. Her name Zahra in Arabic means Brilliant or Bright.


Though security would be very very tight, as it is the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police himself getting wedded, we expect that Abuja's finest & the creme de la creme of the Nigerian society would show face to celebrate with the gentleman & his wife at the Nikah ceremony. We hear Zahra is a very close friend of Alhaji Aliko Dangote's daughter Halima.
Obviously because of the caliber of the person involved in the wedding and to avoid any sort of  hanky-panky, expect that at least a kilometer or even a mile radius around the venue of the event would be cordoned off and security would be top notch. It is a strictly by invitation event, so if you don't have any business in that area, you had better not show face or be seen in the vicinity. We expect the all mighty and no nonsense mobile police force men in their full riot regalia to be present.

After the solemnization (in this case the Nikah and the Fatiha) and some form of merriment at the ThisDay Dome, the newly wedded couple from our little findings would later host some friends and family members to an exclusive thank you dinner at the International Conference Center, Abuja in the evening of that same day. From what we have heard, it's another not all comers event. The day's MC is none other than the always dapper Julius 'the genius' Agwu. 

Alhaji Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar, our highly cerebral IG is embracing matrimony a second time around, after the terrible hand of death, had taken his beloved first wife away sometime in 2012 after a gallant battle with cancer. So after a period of mourning and being lonely for several months, it seems that by providence, Allah seems to have provided for him succor in the hands of the beautiful Zahra, who is an executive at a private oil and gas firm-Afren. The story of how they met and how love blossomed and has now led to marriage is a post for another day. Now the hardworking man has found a shoulder to lean on and someone to whisper sweet nothings to once again.
