Former Miss World 2001, the one & only from Nigeria to have carried such a title in the person of the gorgeous, the statuesque Agbani Darego a few days ago invited the gentlemen & ladies of the media to her flagship store located on the Island, Fola Osibo, Lekki 1, to be more precise. 

Many had heard long before the date that she's now into clothing making sort of or better put had started her own denim range of clothing, but had never had the opportunity to ask her in person what the idea behind the fashion range was all about.

Wednesday, September 17, 2013 from about 12 noon was the opportunity to meet with her and view the first collection by AD by Agbani Darego. Made up more of denims & a few more casual wears. 

The AD showroom is now open! From being a beauty queen, she's gone ahead to take the plunge into entrepreneurship. Her idea for a showroom was to make the products the centre of attention. One of the most alluring aspect of the showroom been the ''Denim bar'', which is an interactive space for customers & providing them with the intimate experience of the brand and its products.

According to the budding entrepreneur- ''Launching AD by Agbani Darego is a dream come true for me. Jeans are my loved go-to everyday look and it's a love I share with a lot of young girls & women for its comfort & simplicity. AD by Agbani Darego is a line that caters to the ease we require of our personal style & it has been a pleasure creating a line that's intuitive to our body, style & pocket needs. I am excited about it & I hope it will be well received''. 

The products range includes the different jeans trouser styles like the Bola- ''Trouser leg'' Boot cut style, Aisha- ''Classic Cut'', IFY- ''the Boyfriend Jeans & Nosa- skinny jeans. They also come in different washes. Apart from the jeans, we also saw the AD by Agbani Darego denim bag and a few other things. And all the things we saw were very very affordable, with the most expensive going for just slightly above #20,000. All the things are made abroad to the best standards you all can think about.

The former queen went on to say that, more things are in the pipeline and styles would be updated as often as possible. And it would include other things just as the brand continually evolves. A male line might also be in the offing, all things being equal. According to former queen, she's involved in the whole process of the manufacturing from concept to execution and even afterwards. 

Official launch of the AD showroom is upcoming in a few weeks. Those at the Press day included the likes of Glam Report's Bola Balogun, Elite Model Nigeria's Elohor Aisien, Genevieve Magazine's Ezinne Chinkata, ex-JARA's Jumai Shaba, 360 Nobs head honcho, Noble Igwe & a couple of others.

Former Most Beautiful Girl in the World, by that we mean ex-Miss World, Agbani Darego is the new cover star for TW Magazine. The 51st ever Miss World, who later became a model and is now an entrepreneur still looks spanking gorgeous anyday, Which just goes on to say the natural beauties, would remain constant and consistent any day.

We love that she has matured into a very graceful lady, who is still outstandingly beautiful. Agbani would still beat many of the recent queens to the crown, if a contest was set up for tomorrow. She's being in the news the past months and even before that, all for what's good and fantastic. She's in the news again as she gets set to launch her own brand, AD by Agbani Darego. 

Agbani Darego, the Beauty Queen turned Entrepreneur releases the promotionalcampaign for her denim line AD by Agbani Darego.

The denim line embraces a luxurious and chic aesthetic that’s affordable with cuts and styles

that are flattering to a range of body types.

Prices of products range from 6,500 Naira – 12,500 Naira.

AGBANI DAREGO ON THISDAY STYLE COVER READY TO LAUNCH FASHION LABEL

 We totally forgot this, but it is better late than never at all. It is obvious that ex-Miss World, Agbani Darego is back to the scheme of things in Nigeria. We seem to be seeing a lot of her lately. She was 30 not too long ago and she had a private shindig, that we had was classy. And now not too long after that, she's just appeared on the cover of Nigeria's own Sunday, Sunday lifestyle Magazine, This Day Style. In the interview she chatted about a lot of things. But also about her upcoming fashion project, the launch of her own Denim Range named AD. 

We are wondering if the tale of her upcoming wedding to someone is true or not?

Her description of the AD by Agbani Darego denim line is '' a range of jeans, dresses and bags for the young modern woman who loves luxury, and loves to look goofd but want it all at an affordable pricepoint". 




Truth be told Agbani is an enduring beauty, those cheek bones are so chiseled, they are to die for.

Ex-MBGN & the Most Beautiful Woman in the World at a point, the one and only Agbani Darego clocked 30 very recently. To mark the day, she hosted an intimate dinner. Venue of choice was the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos. 

Many of the gorgeous ex-queen friends were in attendance.
