Sneaker Wedges. When they first became trendy I couldn't decide if I liked them or not.  Kind of like the Jefferey Campbell Lita's that were oh so popular a couple of years ago, that I never ended up buying mostly because the heel was way too high for me and I could see many face plants and chiropractic appointments in my near future if I purchased them. But seeing sneaker wedges looking fab on other bloggers and fashion peeps convinced me to give give them a try and I'm so glad I did. These ones, from Aldo, are so comfortable (and I'm all about the comfort) and I like how I can wear sneakers and still look tall! I know they're a trend right now and may go out of style within a year or two, which is why I decided not to pay an arm and a leg for them. I like to invest in pieces that will never go out of style and spend less money on the trends. And that's what I encourage my clients to do too. 9 times out of ten they listen to me ; ).

Side note: See the background in my photos? That's our brand new, 2-car garage that was built by D. and his Dad. With their very own hands! Pretty cool, hey?
