I returned from Vancouver last night. What a weekend! I spent it in B.C. with my two best friends I've known for almost 20 years. I lived in Vancouver for a couple of years and being back made me realize just how much I miss living on the coast. The ocean, the fresh air after the rain, the beautiful flowers and greenery, the bustling city, the mountains, and of course my friends...I could go on and on! We had an absolute blast, I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard or felt so good. We felt like we were fifteen again, minus the braces and grungy skater clothes. (It was a phase.) Being with people who love you unconditionally, friends you can be silly with and who put you at ease is the greatest feeling in the world. We did some shopping, sight-seeing, yummy dining, catching-up with old friends who also live in Vancouver and went to the theater to see a movie. We saw the Back-up-plan with Jennifer Lopez, because it was pouring outside on Sunday. I have to say it is possibly the Worst. Movie. Ever. Save your money. Go to the dentist instead and get a root canal, I’m sure you’d enjoy that much more than watching this predictable, unbelievable (as in UN-believable) film. Anyways, all in all it was an excellent weekend! I'll be posting more pics from my travels throughout the week. I hope you had a great weekend!
